You don't care about the the latest fashions in software development methods. Nor do we.

What we both care about is delivering working software effectively. (OK, maybe we do care about it more than you do.) When we found that many techniques we've been using and finding effective are now called "Agile" we tried some other "Agile Methods" and discovered that they work too!

There are seveal reasons why we like, and recommend, these methods:

• They recognise the projects, organisation and teams vary and encourage a "mix and match" approach in order to adapt to the needs of a specific project.
• They recognise that everyone involved needs rapid feedback on the state of progress. This includes the developers, the managers and the customer.
• They focus on delivering value to your business, not on some abstract idea of "the right way to do things".
